This is part of my underwater portrait series.

This image was taken in a swimming pool with a black backdrop. I posted 'Alice in Underland' months ago and have decided to revisit this idea with a different crop and use the original composition.

I used my Canon 7D with my 16-35mm L series lens inside of an Ikelite Housing.

This one is natural light. We shot it outdoors when the sun was starting to go down.

I love your underwater shots. With a little imagination she looks like she is flying in space (zero gravity). I love how the three dominate colors (red, flesh, and black) complement each other so well. Excellent job! Thanks for sharing.

Curious....When you take these shots do you hold your breath underwater or do you use a breathing apperatus instead?

I hold my breath just like the models - I like to come up between shots and communicate so I decided not to get my scuba certification (which was my original plan).
